For Me........

Now I'm not sure how this works but a HUGE Big Thank You to by Best Friend Lorelle for tagging me with the below Awards.

1st is the Creative Funky Friend award!

2nd is The Proximity Award!

These blogs believe and invest in PROXIMITY - nearness in space, time and relationships! These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers! Deliver this award to eight bloggers, who must choose eight more and include this cleverly written text into the body of their awards.

Here's how it works:

1. Go to the section of your computer where you store all of your photos.

2. Select the 6th folder.

3. Select the 6th photo from that folder.

4. Post and explain about that picture.

5. Tag 6 other people.

This was very hard for me to actually find the 6th photo as I store my photos in folders and then in months and then in order of each event. But I am sure this might me the 6th photo. This was taken in April 2006 at a park just near us. This is my elderst daughter Kirsty and as you can see she is absolutely beautiful.

Now to pass on this Award to eight other friends. This is going to be hard. How can you pick only eight!!!!!!!
1. Kerrie
2. Helen C
3. Nicole F
4. Bonnie
5. Shana
6. Katie
7. Maree
8. Danielle
Now I know what you are saying but most of my friends don't have blogs so this was the best I could do. And if any one of these girls above had a blog they would most certainly deserve this award.
Love to all. XXXXX

As promised....

Well I promised I would post some photos. So grab a cuppa and sit back and relax. We have been back now for a week and boy has it gone fast. Kirsty is back at school on Tuesday. I can't believe she is in Year 5. They sure grow up too fast. And it just hit me this week that Makayla will be starting Pre-Prep next year. Oh my Goodness. I don't think I am ready for that. I think there will be more Mummy and Makayla time this year.

I hope you all had a great holiday with your children. I know I did. We are off to the movies on Monday to see Bedtime Stories. Kirsty and I went to see High School Musical 3 last week and I really enjoyed it. So we have the movie bug now. I'll let you know what it was like. I do think it will be funny. It has Adam Sandler in it. I am a big fan.

Ok, now for the photos. The following photos are of my mum's play room. She is heavily into sewing and patch working. As you can see she has a lot of fabric and this is nothing to what she actually has. (And I thought I was out of control with scrapbooking). Her room measures - wait for it - 6metres across and 11 metres long. Yes this is correct. Plus there is the room with the fabric in it which is extra. Yes the envy of all crafters.

Kirsty and Makayla have a VERY long play at Gympie on Monday on our trip home. I think we spent over an hour playing at the park. I needed the rest and I think the girls needed to use up some of their energy.

This would be Makayla's favourite toy. We bought it for her last year and if we are away for a day or two, when she gets out of the car her bike is the first thing she will visit.

Kirsty and Makayla holding baby Zacharry in hospital. He is the most beautiful little boy. And I think Danielle and Craig had to watch Makayla as I think she really wanted to take him home.

Now how cute is this precious Koala Bear of mine........ She just loves this dress that Grandma Lyn bought for her. She calls it her "Pretty Dress" Actually this is what she calls all of her dresses that she can spin in.

My mum has a few cats and this one (Zooky) is a cross with a Ragdoll. It is huge. I think mum said it weighs over 9kgs. I think this is heavy for a cat?????? My nick name for it is Puma Lion. Kirsty is struggling to hold him up. Not sure if you can tell how big he really is.

Christmas Day was so exciting for me as well as the Girls. I so love Christmas. Just check out Makayla's face when she opened up a Santa present.

We got the Girls a trampoline for Christmas, well actually it was a shared present from both Grandparents and us. While Kirsty was away with her father for Christmas we put it up. And as we do both Cameron and I had to try it out. And see just how high we could jump. Well I only have to jump 5cm off the mat and my stomach was in knots. But for Cameron he was getting rather close to jumping out of it.

This is some of the Lynch boys. We all got together on Christmas Day. Not a bad bunch if you ask me.

These are a few photos of our Caloundra holiday last year just before Christmas. It is the best time. Looking forward to the next big holiday.

100%

Well I truly don't believe it but I got 100% on my taxation exam. Yeah I know all that stress over nothing - well sort of nothing. I have been celebrating with my sister and brother.
So I will be sitting back and relaxing tomorrow.

Maybe I might make a start on Kirsty's patchwork quilt. Yes you read right, I am going to attempt another patchwork quilt. Patchworking is rather addictive. I would just love to have a room as big as my mum's. I shall post a picture of her room when I return to Bundaberg. She is the envy of all. On the mum front - Mum is still doing really well with her weight loss. I still can't believe she is a size 10. Way to go Mum..........

Have you got any??????

I am chasing about 12 huggies nappy boxes or even 12 baby love nappy boxes. I am trying to do a project and need this many boxes. So if you know of anyone that has little babies and uses these brands I would really appreciate if you could save them for me. If the project works out I will post it and let you all know.

I am just about packed and ready to go. We are off to Brisbane for a week. I am sitting my Taxation exam on Thursday. So I will be a little nervous and maybe no finger nails left by Thursday morning. If only I could dress Cameron up to look like me then I would be set. LOL.

Of course there is going to be a little bit of shopping and lots of sewing. I am planning on hopefully starting to organise Kirsty's bedroom. She is wanting to re-decorate her room. At the moment she is wanting Pink and Lime Green. I do think these colours will look great in her room.

I had a FANTASTIC time yesterday at the new look local scrapbooking club. If you are local and scrapbook or card making or just want to come and see what we do jump on Dilys and Linda's blog Simply Crafty to check out the dates.

Well best go as the girls are in the car ready to go and I still have to pack more things. I promise when I return I will post some pictures and also some pages I have been working on.

Happy New Year !!!!!!!

Welcome to 2009! I am looking forward to what is going to be a fabulous year. We spent the evening with friends but unfortunately left before midnight as we had two children that just needed to be home. But we did see out 2008 and welcomed in 2009.

Cameron has his new years resolutions already sorted and for me well I don't really know. I might just have to give that a little more thought. Maybe scrap more pages????? You would think one night a week with the girls would be enough to get some pages done but it really isn't... LOL

We had a fantastic Christmas with the girls this year (sorry last year). And Makayla is right into the present opening. Her face was priceless when opening up presents she got from Santa. And Kirsty was a very happy girl with all the presents she got. The girls got a trampoline for Christmas as well as LOTS of other presents. I don't know about you but I just LOVE seeing their faces light up with what they get. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE Christmas time.

I shall post some photos here in the next few days. Happy Happy New Year to all. And safe travels to those that are visiting their families and returning home soon.

We're BACK

And what a FABULOUS holiday we had. We have just come home from 9 days of pure relaxation at Caloundra. We spent the week with my brother and sister and my two beautiful nieces. We stayed at our usual resort - the Rolling Surf Resort. It is just paradise. I did heaps of walking and swimming and loads of eating (as you do on holidays). We also did a couple of night time walks along the beach and some night time swimming in the pool. The girls had a great time and keeping Kirsty and Makayla out of the water was a battle. But trying to keep Kirsty with us was an even bigger battle as she just wanted to spend the time with her two cousins. And not one argument was had for the entire time we were together. Just goes to show how much they are growing up.

Cameron had his birthday while we were away so we enjoyed a night out at a Thai restaurant. The food was great. Kirsty got sick after dinner as the plate of food she was served was enough to feed a very hungry adult and yet somehow she managed to eat all of it bar a handful of chips.

Yes I did make Cameron wear the party hat but he wore it just for the photos. It just isn't a birthday party without party hats..........
This is the balcony from our room. Just perfect. We had our own access to the pool and could see the kids swimming. I totally recommend this place for a holiday.

We went to Montville while we where in the area and saw candy being made. Oh My Goodness. If ever there was an artist it is the guy making the candy. I so wish I got photos (yeah I know I can't believe I didn't take any either). If you are ever in Montville do stop into Candy Addiction and watch them make candy. You will be amazed at what they do. Plus you will walk out with arm fulls of candy as we nearly did.We also visited the Malaney Dairy. Which the girls had a great time seeing the cows being milked as well as the goats. Lucky for you I don't have smell - a - blog........ As the smell was just disgusting. The goats had to be milked twice a day. Check out those udders . OUCH.........

My BF Katrina and Brenton and Prudence visited us on our last day. And my goodness she has grown but Prudence is still such a petite little princess. Photos to come.

The weather was just perfect and it was a much needed rest for us all after such a busy year. Looking forward to our next big holiday.

Now you will notice that my blog has changed slightly. This is thanks to my BF Lorelle for putting me onto this fabulous site. I do love her blog so go and check it out.

MOST EXCITING NEWS - Makayla sat on my lap beside Santa today and we got a photo. I know, not that exciting for some but I was just soooooo excited as she would not even look at him over a week ago. Though I was not dressed to have my photo taken with Santa and my wonderful husband said I looked great. Love you Cameron. But he was lying through his teeth. I will have to some how air brush me out of the photo. I will no doubt be calling on my friend Lorelle for some major help there.

Have a great Christmas everyone and I hope Santa finds you.

Love Sandra

TEN TEN TEN

Has anyone seen my baby??????

I can't believe my little girl is just about all grown up. She is now into double digits. And just how beautiful is she?

So much has happened since I last blogged. We have had a birthday party, which consisted of around twelve 10 year old girls dancing, laughing and more dancing. And of course I got up and did a bit of dancing. I was told by one of the parents that they could hear the music from the start of our street. I do think the neighbours were a bit shocked at the noise as we don't usually have much noise come from our place. My sister and brother and neices came up from Brisbane to celebrate Kirsty's birthday. As always a weekend is just never enough time to spend with them.

Only 9 more sleeps until Cameron finishes work. We are so looking forward to spending the holidays together. Only 9 more sleeps.. did I mention that........

I have been really busy with work the last couple of weeks. I have started back at my old work place but this time I have been set up from home. What a great job I have......... I work on average 3 days a week but just depends what work there is. My job role is a Paraplanner. I know - What The......... Basically I prepare documents as instructed by the Financial Adviser. I am really enjoying what I am doing and especially being at home makes it so much easier in organising the family.

I have also finished making all of my Christmas presents. Which I can't put on the blog just yet otherwise everyone will see what I have made for them..... And I have also finished my Christmas cards for this year. Well this year was a new record in the number of cards I made. This year I made 90 cards and gave those 90 cards out. Or in the process of giving them out. I even did heaps of sewing on my cards this year. So those that get a hand made card from me this year I will be checking to see if you keep it during the year.. LOL

I am looking forward to this Sunday as a few of my addicted scrapper friends and I are all getting together to have a scrapathon or just a day with the girls. Scrapathon sounds better. It is really sort of our christmas party. So I am hoping to get some scrapbooking done. See you all there. I'll be wearing my Christmas clothes and I might just have to join in and sing those christmas songs with you D.......

Kirsty is now finished school for another year. And we have loads of things planned for the holidays. So it might be a few weeks before I see you again. So have a great Christmas everyone and a safe New Year.
